1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Renbi, available at renbi.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Renbi is an AI-powered Japanese conversation practice platform. The Service provides voice and text conversation with AI characters, along with post-conversation feedback on language usage. Renbi is a practice tool, not a certified language school or accredited educational institution.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Renbi.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features are billed on a recurring basis through Paddle. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. See our Refund Policy for refund details.

6. Fair Use

Paid subscriptions include a fair-use cap of 80 hours of conversation per month. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend automated, abusive, or commercially exploitative use.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, scrape or extract prompts or model behavior, share credentials, or generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, characters, prompts, design, and content are property of Renbi. Your conversation transcripts belong to you. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service.

9. AI Disclaimer

Renbi uses third-party AI models from providers including Anthropic and OpenAI. AI-generated content may contain errors or unnatural language.
